We're so excited you're interested in joining Carolina Camera Club! Whether your child is a total beginner or already snapping away, we've got a place for them to grow their skills, confidence, and creativity.

How to Enroll:

1. Pick Your Program

Check out our programs page to choose after school clubs, seasonal workshops, or pop up events. We must have a program at your school in order for your kid to join. Not seeing your school? Reach out and see if we can add it to our club roster!

2. Fill out the Enrollment Form

This gives us all the info we need, covers all the program information and requirements, and reserves your spot!

3. Watch your Email

You'll get a welcome email with dates, what to bring, and all the fun prep information your child will need! You will also receive weekly emails (for school programs) and a follow up email (for workshops and events) so make sure to be on the lookout!

FAQ's

What ages can join?

Programs are offered at elementary schools and middle schools. Basic knowledge of reading & writing are needed, but we welcome all ages that can snap! Please look for the recommended ages for specific workshops and events.

What kind of camera do we need?

We offer lessons using digital cameras. Our school programs and workshops include camera use from our supplies closet, but you are welcome to bring any digital camera to our adventures!

What does a typical session look like?

Each session starts with a mini lesson and hands on demo, followed by a creative challenge or scavenger hunt. We end with a fun group activity. Sessions are relaxed, social, and focused on fun- not perfection!

Can my child join if they're shy or have learning differences?

Absolutely! We welcome all learners and do our best to make every session fun, safe, and inclusive. We value and preach community here at Carolina Camera Club.

Does my child need any photography experience?

Nope! Total beginners are welcome- and many of our students have never picked up a camera before. We guide them every step of the way, regardless of what stage they are in!

Are there scholarships available?

Yes! We are in the process of adding a nonprofit component to our Camera Club that will support income needs for students. Please reach out and learn more about if you would qualify!
